George Brown College presents the ‘Ambition Nutrition Symposium: Bridging the Gap between Nutritional Science and Culinary Arts’.  The theme of this year’s Symposium is “Obesity: The 40 Year Experiment, why have dietary guidelines of the last 40 years failed to make Canadians healthier?”    This symposium will focus on nutrition in theory and practice, as well as examining the gaps and opportunities that exist between research, education, nutrition, diet, and culinary arts.

On June 28th, join academic professionals, dietitians, culinary experts, and industry leaders for an interactive day filled with discussions, workshops and presentations.

We will also be joined by a host of additional experts including Gary Taubes, Chef Michael Smith and Carol Timmings. The debate and discussion will be lively!
