ABOUT YOUR HOST
The OPHA Students and New Professionals Working Group (NPWG) was created in 2013 to magnify the opportunities for those starting out in the public health field within the OPHA. By providing members with opportunities for professional development, network building, and continuous learning the NPWG offers an edge to those pursuing employment or career advancement in public health. Through its affiliation and collaboration with the Ontario Public Health Association, the NPWG works to provide student and new professional members with access to resources and information through social media, web, and institution-based strategies, providing a focused and relevant approach to member engagement. Visit the NPWG online and check out its Public Health Perspectives blog here.
