The high level of uncertainty today calls for increased mental and physical resilience. This experiential workshop will introduce new thinking and behavior to improve overall wellbeing and increase adaptability to change. The program will address the main symptoms of burnout and anxiety such as increased worry, inability to relax, energy depletion, and social isolation, and offer key strategies to develop the mind at both conscious and unconscious levels to prevent common mental health challenges. You will gain an understanding of the role of perception, personality traits, and ego in your wellbeing and become more able to access your natural, relaxed state even in stressful situations. This prevention-oriented workshop is designed to address both personal and professional aspects of life, with positive effects on productivity, engagement, and creative problem solving.

About Dr. Milena Braticevic

Milena holds a PhD in Integral Health from the California Institute for Human Science. Milena’s work explores prevention-oriented methodologies for mental health, sustainability, and wellbeing. She currently teaches her experiential mental resilience program “Building Mental Resilience in Uncertain Times” at the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies. During the pandemic, the program was delivered to many organizations affected by the crisis, including the Ontario Public Health Association, Tourism Industry Association of Ontario, Ontario Association of Social Workers, and the Canadian Federation of Independent Businesses.
