This Mainpro® C interactive workshop will provide participants with a deeper understanding of the impact of parental marijuana use on child developmental outcomes.
Learning Objectives
Participants will become familiar with the latest research findings regarding the long-term and short-term effects of parental marijuana use on children
Participants will become familiar with substance abuse screening strategies that can be used universally during the preconception, prenatal and early years
Participants will become familiar with harm reduction strategies that can be used when dealing with marijuana users during the preconception, prenatal and early years periods
Participants will become familiar with local community services available to support people using marijuana during the preconception, prenatal and early years periods
